Joan Shepp Unwrapped

Joan Shepp celebrated 20% off the Men's and Women's Y-3 Collection at a shopping event last week. Complimentary booze, sandwiches, and a DJ made customers feel better about the grenade that would explode in their wallets with every purchase.

But I must say, I was jealous of those who could actually afford to buy. With a rather bold take on this Spring trend toward neutral colors, flair and convention make a healthy compromise on Joan Shepp's racks. From movie inspired shades to silk berets, I could tell that Paris didn't just come to PIFA this year. The clothes possess a Parisian-inspired subtle edge. Nothing too dull, nothing too bright--everything's just right. Non? So here are some of my favorite things...

an electric blue crop top

a sequined skort

a Beatles button-down

floor length peasant dress with messenger bag

Silk dress with trench vest

The silk beret

Tan sneakers with a lime green trim

Neutral colored sandals

The wicker shoe
