Street Fair This Weekend

This is a once in a philly-lifetime event! When else are you going to walk down Avenue of the Arts and see flying trapeze artists soaring over your head and a giant ferris wheel on Broad Street?

The end of the PIFA festival is near and the Parisian Street Fair is the sweet and extravagant goodbye. Catch street performers like mimes and jugglers, a grass park (they are bringing in grass?) and public garden , food vendors, no doubt serving up those delicious crepes from the Kimmel Center and, of course, the GIANT FERRIS WHEEL. We will be taking a few spins on that one.

There will also be some Parisian-inspired music performances on two stages, so the sensory overload options are a-plenty.

This month 215 Blog spotlights various highlights of the upcoming Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts (April 7-May1) with the support of PIFA. You may follow them at http://www.twitter.com/PIFAPhilly or on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/PIFA.Philly.

The fair is all day from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. this Saturday and it is completely free!
