Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts

or PIFA, as we barely in the know are calling it (as directed by those very in the know), had their first press conference today announcing their month long, (um, yeah) month long festival in our fair city. The logo and creative was unveiled for the first time today amongst some early am fanfare that included some members of the orchestra jamming it up with DJ Statik and Dave P. I got pix thru my crummy iphone which 1.) whited out any faces of note and 2.) doesn't zoom so the whited out faces are further away than they were in reality. Sweet!

So, I can lie and say these people are whomever I want!

The only way I could convey what the new branding was to take photos of their takeaway item. It's all about the cube. Oh, and this particular cube was a pad, fyi.

And, here is the Philadelphia Orchestra and Dave P & Statik. Look closer. No, closer, NO, closer...

AND, the President of ......the United St....fine, the mayor of Philadelphia, making one of his rare (giggle) appearances at an event. Cause that never, ever, ever happens (was the 2nd ever too much?).

p.s. I am NOT a photographer. so gimme a break.
