Holy privileged actors, batman.....
Matt Damon tells (screams) Adrian Grenier just how lucky he is..heh. Pretty sneaky. An undeniably great marketing scheme. Undoubtedly a scene from entourage, this video is being seeded virally as 1 superstar actor freaking out on a lesser superstar actor. Pretty compelling stuff if you're as gullible as me..who had to have an intern explain the presence of Jeremy Piven. Thanks, Katie.

Okay, free coffee...twice

Okay, this has received a ton of press, and I was debating running this post, but I kept thinking about it and thought that it deserved a little attention from us. The numbers are fascinating...Starbucks took 20 years to develop Via their new brand of instant coffee, (one of my favorite filler words, btw), and is introducing it to the world via (see?) inviting 4 million friends on Facebook with the expectation of 8-10 million participants at their 7,500 company run locations.
BIG numbers.
Anyway, it's running this Friday thru Monday (Oct 2-5) and not only do you get to conduct a taste test (how cool is that..kinda?) but you also get $1 off any Via purchase AND a Starbucks thank you card (free coffee!).
So, there you go. And for those of you who can't stand Starbuck b/c they're big biz, free coffee is free coffee is free coffee.
Oh, and their new ad is kinda funny. To view it Click here

Ok, so for those of you who don't know our marketing company, Little Giant Media (ahem, parent company of two.one.five mag), click here for a really quick and kinda cool intro to some of the things we've been doing.
And, oh, yeah, can you spot our fearless founder in the picture? (which must be credited to M. Edlow for GPTMC). Hint: He's the only one kneeling who's not a woman.

American Apparel keeps setting the standard...lower and lower

Britain's Advertising Standards Authority has deemed this ad to be "offensive and irresponsible" as the girl looks to be under 16. AA says she is 23....we think she should just lose the glasses.

Red Bull Public Assembly.... a 215mag Joint
Attention Philly: Next time Red Bull decides to throw a party don't miss out.
This past week saw the beginning of Red Bull's party promotion competition called 'Red Bull Public Assembly'. The opening party was hosted by Tayyib Smith aka Little Giant and saw INSANE talent from Mad Decent's Maluca, Sammy Slice, DJ Sega, and DJ Diamond Kutz. Yea, the booze was making everyone feel warm and fuzzy but it was the 23452151 cans of Red Bull consumed that really created the atmosphere. And by that I mean the party was insane. So insane, in fact, that WE BLEW THE PLACE UP. Literally, we blew the fuse on the joint. You can't even script it better than that. The party quickly made its way to O.N.E. on Rittenhouse for SUPERDOPE. In what looked like a scene from the RIZE movie, Maluka kinda tore the place apart. Looking like Janet Jackson in the 90's with her metal plated 'Maluca' hat, Maluca killed it. DJ PHSH followed for the rest of the night and the rest is history. Unless someone can remember the rest of the night...

Trend Spotting: Fashion Week Spring Preview
Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is taking place right now in New York, and although there are still a couple days left, we want to show you some trends we're already spotting for spring. This year, spring fashion is everything you would imagine it to be: light, airy, feminine, and flowy looks dominate, with heavy draping trends (everything from tops, to jackets, to pants), and sheer airy looks. Here are some of the biggest trends of the season:
1. Pants are Optional
We can thank (or more likely, tar & feather), Lady Gaga for this one. Practically every designer has at least one look in their collections featuring panties as outerwear. This one is not easy to pull off, so its pretty scary to think of women walking around in underwear.
(Honestly: if its cold enough to need a jacket or long sleeves, why would you be walking around in underwear??? Just a thought.)

2. Boyfriend Looks are Sticking Around:
This the boyfriend look is my fav trend going on right now, I'm very happy this is sticking around some more. For spring, loose, knee-length shorts have been added and boyfriend pants have been updated in different fabrics.

3. Ultra Feminine Dresses:
Flowing, loose, beautiful maxi dresses in one spring-inspired color were shown everywhere from Marc Jacobs to Halston. This trend also utilizes other mini-trends, such as sheer materials, ruffles, and ties around the waist.
4. Harem Pants aren't Going Anywhere
Yes, some designers went overboard, taking the trend from MC Hammer into soggy diaper, but the real star of this trend is the tailored harem pant (which is more fitted, and cuffed around the bottoms). Look for heavy draping in legs, but avoid heavy draping in the crouch!
