In local news, two local college students, Leslie Pope & John Wagner, were arrested for refusing to pay a $16.35 gratuity after they claimed they received horrible service.

Pope is quoted as saying, "You can't give us terrible, terrible service and expect a tip", a 22-year-old Pottsville Native and Moravian College senior.

The two culprits were there with a group of friends and claim that they had to get their own napkins and silverware.

Keep in mind that it clearly says "an 18% gratuity will be added to the check of parties six or more", on the menus and receipts of the Lehigh Valley Pub.

The two pleaded not guilty and a court date is scheduled for next month.

What do I think? I'm sure they're exaggerating on how poor the service really was. Stop being spoiled brats and pay your gratuities. If, as they claim, they ordered, "Only a salad and chicken wings, and were drinking soda", how does your check get to $73?? Yea, right.
