The Philadelphia Student Union's tryin'! I'll let the group's description come straight from their spokesperson Jacob Winterstein (? or at least the guy that I spoke to), since I'm likely to chop it up to indecipherable shreds.

"We are a youth-led organization that exists to build the power of young people to demand a high quality education in the Philadelphia public school system."

Nice, right?

Apparently this past summer they decided to tackle the issue of the nearly 50% drop out rate of our high school students. How? By recording a high quality CD to aid them in their fundraising efforts (pix of the cuties recording below.)
