Fake Flakes

Kellogg has confirmed, but we're still a little skeptical, that they have developed a laser technology to stamp their logo on individual Corn Flakes. Apparently, they are sick of losing market share to generics or private label imitations (they call 'em fake flakes) and wanna clarify that the company does NOT produce corn flakes for anyone else.

They'll be in trial phase for a minute and if everything works out well, they'll think about putting in a certain amount in each box. (deep breath). If that works, Kellogg will consider branding some of their other commodities.

While this sounds incredible, this still doesn't address how ungodly expensive cereal seems to be. Note to Kellogg: Throwing money towards insane technology is all great and good, but maybe you wouldn't lose so much market share if the generics weren't so much less expensive than yours. Just sayin'.
