Commonwealth Proper at North Bowl (10/22)
Commonwealth Proper Pops-Up at North Bowl
On October 22, Commonwealth Proper will host a pop-up shop at North Bowl in Northern Liberties. The pop-up shop is slated to house select, limited edition garments from the Commonwealth Proper Fall 2009 collection, including its revered button-down shirts. The brand is also launching winter scarves made of 100% wool. Adding to the event will be artists phsh, Nicholas, Suzi Analogue, El Malito, and DJ Ruxbin. There will be free bowling, free beer from PBR and free hugs and kisses all night.
Launched in May 2009, Commonwealth Proper has already received critical acclaim while garnering a cult-like following of loyal customers. Specializing in button-down shirts for the athletic man of style, the Philadelphia-based company has dedicated their development to “product before promotion” – meaning each product it releases is nothing but extraordinary.
When asked about the night, Craig Arthur von Schroeder, Creative Director of Commonwealth Proper, had this to say: “Establishing our Showroom right around the corner from North Bowl, our dream is first and foremost supplying the people with exceptional garments. Ours happens to be one of artisanship and heritage; steeped in the in the haberdashery traditions of old Philadelphia and instilled with the city’s revolutionary roots. Suffice it to say, our shirts are incredible, just try one on and you’ll feel the difference.”
The Commonwealth Proper Pop-up Shop will be held in North Bowl, located at 909 N. 2nd St in Northern Liberties from 6-9PM on Thursday, October 22, 2009. Questions and concerns may be directed towards Bela Shehu at bela@commonwealthproper.com
